Upload and process schematics
Upload one or more PNG or SVG diagrams, choose a detection model, and follow their processing in an upload batch.
Before you upload
Use direct schematic upload when each diagram is already available as a separate PNG or SVG file. Use the manuals workflow for multi-page PDF files that still need page review or promotion.
Your role needs permission to import schematics. A detection model must also be available for the upload.
1. Choose Upload schematic images
Open the upload page. Upload full manual PDF is selected by default, so choose Upload schematic images before adding diagram files.
2. Select a detection model
Under Upload Settings, choose the Detection Model that PartGrid should use. The company default is selected when one is configured. Otherwise, the first available model is selected.
3. Add schematic files
Under Schematic Files, drag files into the upload area or choose them from your device.

4. Start the upload
Start the upload after checking the selected model and files. PartGrid creates a separate private schematic for each file and opens the upload batch.
5. Follow batch progress
The batch page shows the selected model, upload details, and the number of Processed, Failed, and Pending schematics. Use the table to search or filter the files and open an individual schematic.
Failed or pending schematics
Pending means processing has not finished. Failed means processing did not complete successfully. The batch page does not provide a retry action; inspect the affected item and upload the source file again when necessary.
After processing
Open each processed schematic to review its reference overlays, link parts, and complete its settings before making it customer-facing.
