Manage schematic settings and visibility

Open the schematic from All schematics. Your role needs permission to edit schematics.

New schematics start as Private. Review their references and linked parts before making them customer-facing.

Under Schematic Settings, enter the customer-facing name in Schematic Name. The name is stored for the language currently selected in the dashboard.

Use the schematic name translation workflow when you need to update several languages or schematics together.

Private: Available for review in the authenticated dashboard and preview, but blocked from public standalone and collection experiences.

Only with link: Available through its direct public schematic route when the embed integration and approved-domain rules allow access. It is not listed in public collection navigation.

Public: Available through its direct public route and eligible for public collection experiences.

Open Categories / Collections to manage both assignments.

Categories organize schematics in the collection navigation tree. Collections determine which custom customer-facing collection experiences can include the schematic. A schematic must also be Public before it appears in public collection navigation.

After changing the name, visibility, categories, or collections, choose Save Settings. The button appears when there are unsaved changes.

Embed Code appears when the schematic is Public and the company’s embed integration is connected. Choose Copy Embed Code to copy the iframe.

The generated iframe uses the dashboard’s active language and currency and has a height of 600 pixels.

Choose Preview schematic to open the authenticated customer-facing preview. Preview works with Private schematics, so you can test the result before changing visibility.
