Manage multiple parts at once

Select and update multiple parts using the available bulk actions.

Before you start

Bulk actions apply one operation to several catalogue parts. Available actions depend on your permissions for editing, exporting, deleting, and managing part groups. Review the parts catalogue overview when you need to confirm how these records are used.

Select parts

Open Parts and select the rows you want to change. Use Select all when an export should include all parts matching the current filters. The bulk action bar shows the selected count and the operations available to your role.

Available bulk actions

Change Enabled

Enable or disable the selected parts. The update runs as a queued job.

Assign groups

Add one or more manual groups to the explicitly selected parts.

Export parts

Export selected parts or all matching parts to an XLSX file.

Delete parts

Permanently delete the explicitly selected catalogue parts after confirmation.

Enable or disable selected parts

Choose Change Enabled, select Enable or Disable, review the number of parts, and confirm. PartGrid queues the update and processes each selected part.

Assign manual groups

Choose Assign groups and select the manual groups to add. This action adds the chosen groups to the explicitly selected parts and keeps their other manual group assignments. Dynamic groups are controlled by their rules and cannot be assigned directly.

Export parts

Choose Export Parts and select the pricing context. Catalog prices export the stored catalogue data. Collection and dealer contexts add resolved pricing columns for the selected distribution context. Review catalogue and calculated prices before choosing the context. The export runs as a queued job and becomes available through Recent transfers.

  1. Export only the selected rows, or use Select all to export every part matching the current filters.
  2. Choose Catalog prices for stored part prices.
  3. Choose a collection or active dealer relationship when calculated context prices are required.
  4. Return to Recent transfers to download the completed XLSX file.

Delete selected parts

Select Delete, review the confirmation message, and confirm only when the selected catalogue parts should be removed. Deleting a part also removes its dependent catalogue relationships and cannot be undone from the Parts workspace.

Review background operations

Queued enable, disable, and export operations can finish after you leave the Parts workspace. Clear the selection after submitting an action, then refresh the catalogue or Recent transfers when you need to review the result.
